The college's MIS team is responsible for the management and reporting of learner data to internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking to recruit a Systems Technician who will maintain the databases which provide the foundation for our clients work, ensure the information management software is up to date with all latest releases, and provide user support to a variety of staff across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have a background in computing and be familiar with Microsoft's SQL Server Management Studio, with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail.
The role is primarily based at the college's Somer Valley campus in Radstock, with flexibility to work from home for part of the week. Regular working hours are fixed, however you will be required to work some evenings or weekends to apply software updates - as the lead technician you will have some flexibility to determine these days in advance.
