Description
The Role
As the business development support, you will be the liaison between our company and current/potential customers within the sector.
The successful candidate will be able to manage their consultative telesales time between inbound and outbound calls, use of the CRM system and complete market research around the chosen area of apprenticeships. Be able to gather market intelligence and use different platforms such as LinkedIn to search, connect and nurture new customers.
Our clients values are core to all they do, so operating with integrity, credibility and an ability to listen are critical in order to maintain the trust that clients and apprentices place in them. This role will be home based with all necessary hardware, software and platforms provided to succeed in the role. The successful candidate will need to be able to identify, generate and nurture leads for the creation of apprenticeship opportunities for hand over to the account management team.
As a Telesales Executive you will carry a target, so you will be a tenacious, assertive and outgoing professional who can manage multiple stakeholders and their needs - while simultaneously demonstrating a natural desire to support all customers through consultative selling. You will be driven by hitting your target, but not at the expense of all else and strive to have WIN-WIN outcomes for the customer and the business.
You will need a proven track record or demonstrate the ability to listen, interact, and consult with stakeholders to support the account management team with its growth target and the businesses market share within the apprenticeship space.

Responsibilities include:
  • Able to work and be successful in meeting the roles key performance benchmarks
  • Understand current key accounts to replicate outreach to build new customers
  • Manage day to day activities to support key touchpoints  to nurture leads in the business generation process
  • Completing outbound customer calls to discuss the full business offer
  • Manage inbound traffic relating to enquires around apprenticeships and other funded training opportunities
  • Verify, consult and offer direction for questions relating to the business offer
  • Explain apprenticeship delivery time frame and programme delivery options
  • Use marker research tools such as LinkedIn, Apollo and other platforms to identify and build key contacts
  • Accurately enter customer information into the CRM for opportunity tracking and follow up support
  • Maintain the list of potential leads and follow up with customers by making subsequent call and check backs
  • Assists sales colleagues with arranging meetings and sales calls with customers
  • Contacts customers in response to correspondence or feedback
  • Maintain a high level of working knowledge about the apprenticeship sector and keep current on industry developments by reading current news or attending CPD days
  • Support other areas of the business delivery when needed.

  • Manage your own priorities and progress, with working closely with the team across Skiils4Pharmacy
  • Research, source and record business data to meet key job role responsibilities
  • Be curious and with a passion for learning new things - and sharing that learning with others.
