Our client Is looking for a Motor Vehicle Tutor. The key responsibility of the position is to carry out training delivery and assessment in line with the requirements of the curriculum. You will be responsible for providing a consistent delivery method across various technician training levels and disciplines. Objective is to provide delegates with an appropriate environment with which to be trained and assessed. Whilst maintaining a consistently high standard of delivery, with support and guidance from Colleagues and Quality Specialist.
RESPONSIBILITIES
·Conduct training and assessments of delegates across various levels and disciplines, providing support and objective, constructive feedback when required, in-line with the organisation’s guidelines.
·Treat all customers in a fair and reasonable manner, ensuring any issues are identified and reported as appropriate.
·Be responsible for the correct administration of all training documentation completed as part of training and skill assessments, meeting the standards expected.
·Undergo observations, support standardisation meetings and continuous improvement plans
·Support Colleagues to ensure the training schedule is delivered in the most efficient manner.
·Support the Development Manager in the development and review of new courses and assessments (as required), helping to drive quality and standardisation across all disciplines.
·Support the Curriculum manager’s role/duties relating to ISO quality standards and the company Quality System.
·To understand customer views, needs and objectives.
·To ensure consistency of assessment process and co-ordination of on-the-job and off-the-job training.
·Provide information to managers and external bodies as required.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:
·Recent experience in an automotive workshop, ideally at Diagnostic/Master Technician level.
·Must have teaching experience in some form
·Good standard of education, ideally with Certificate in Motor Studies and/or BTEC National Certificate in Engineering & Motor Vehicle Studies.
·Holding or working towards a delivery/assessment qualification.
·Computer literate in Microsoft office and data management systems. Excellent administrative ability.
