Early Years Tutor
Pay: £13,683.00 - £15,812.00 per year
Our client is looking for someone to start working 3 days a week but with the availability to move up to 4 days or full time should the caseload of learners increase.
Job Description:
To manage & support a caseload of learners studying apprenticeships in childcare, mainly at levels 2 & 3, but in some cases up to levels 4 & 5. The role involves delivery of all aspects of the apprenticeship, including the knowledge, skills & behaviours related to the occupation, functional skills in maths & English up to level 2 and full support for End Point Assessment.
Delivery of learning will take place across Essex at employers premises, mainly on a 1:1 basis, however some group teaching may be involved.
It is essential that you already hold a related occupational qualification at level 3, plus maths & English to an equivalent of functional skills level 2. An assessing qualification at level 3 (TAQA) is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. An existing working knowledge of apprenticeships would be an advantage.
This is an opportunity to join a small Independent Training Provider with an excellent presence and reputation across Essex. As a specialist apprenticeship provider they pride themselves on delivering a top quality service to their employers and apprentices. They are a small, close knit team with years of experience behind them and a commitment to develop and support their staff in order to equip them fully to support customers. The primary mode of delivery is face to face, so it is essential that you live in the area we operate - Essex.
This position will involve regulated activity with persons aged under 18 and in some cases 'at risk' adults. Applicants will need to prove their identity and right to work in the UK and, if successful, will undergo a DBS check with barred list information. They are committed to the principles of safer recruitment and accordingly this application will follow the recommended process according to current legislation. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
