- This role combines teaching and training duties with the assessment work.
Essential Requirements for the Role- Must have a teaching qualification such as PTLLS/AET or equivalent
- Confident with 1-1 and group delivery.
- Flexible travel for face-to-face teaching as post holder must be able to travel in Essex, Kent, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. As well as be comfortable teaching live online sessions.
- Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- To deliver 1:1 and group based training to learners both face-to-face and online.
- Prepare, plan and deliver quality teaching and learning to ensure timely completions in line with company procedures and timescales.
- Assess learners and provide progress feedback to learners and provide support to ensure they meet their set goal / target.
- Support learners to pass through Gateway into end-point assessment.
- Ensure learners complete their online induction within 12 weeks of starting their apprenticeship.
- Work with learners to support them in their English and maths learning aims and prepare for them to sit exams timely.
- Plan and agree with learners for them to complete their off-the-job training regularaly and in line with funding rule requirements.
- Carry out regular progress reviews with learners every 8-10 weeks along with a scorecard and ensure this is recorded.
- Ensure the learning journal of all learners is kept updated at all times.
- Teaching, learning and assessment plans must be compiled with learners every visit and stored online
- Ensure that your outlook calendar is always updated as per company guidelines.
- Respond to learners and employers timely and within 48 hours of receipt.
- Provide employers with updated information at every visit and encourage them to attend review meetings.
- Provide impartial information, advice and guidance to motivate and encourage learners
- throughout their programme. Recording such evidence at the start, middle and end of their apprenticeship.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners` progress.
- Be able to support learners to overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner`s needs.
- Attend relevant induction and training meetings as required including standardisation and team
- meetings.
- Undertake regular CPD activity for dual professionalism and record this using company documents.
- Ensure that any breaks in learning or withdrawals are reported to the Apprenticeship Manager
- Recruit learners in line with company procedures.
- Obtain learner case studies bi-monthly.
- Provide learners with additional learning support (LS) as required and ensure it is always documented.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Clock in/out using the company APP daily.
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding (including Prevent) the welfare of all learners for whom you have responsibility for or with whom you come into contact with and adhere to our clients Safeguarding and Prevent policies.
Qualifications- PTLLS, Certificate of Education or PGCE qualification
- Assessor qualification at Level 3 or above
- Warehousing qualification

Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications or equivalent in English and maths
Knowledge / Technical Skills- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint – intermediate competency

Experience- Experience of working as an Apprenticeship Trainer/Assessor with a proven track
- record
- Experience of working with different end-point assessment organisations for
- apprenticeship standards
- Experience of teaching good quality apprenticeship sessions to learners
- Experience of assessing apprenticeship learners
- Experience of working with employers and managing relationships
- Highly IT literate
- Experience of working with Management Information systems or CRMs
