Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: £34,531 + £6,000 car allowance
Contract: Full Time
Role Overview
- Our client is seeking a Work-Based Training Advisor to support apprentices on Level 3–4 engineering and manufacturing programmes (electrical/electronic bias). The role focuses on high-quality assessment, training delivery and learner support, ensuring apprentices gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours required by industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver workplace assessments and knowledge-based training in line with apprenticeship standards.
- Provide coaching, progress reviews and constructive feedback.
- Develop and monitor individual learning plans and support apprentices preparing for EPA.
- Build strong employer relationships and ensure workplaces are suitable for training.
- Maintain compliant learner records and contribute to internal quality assurance.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and data protection standards are upheld.
Qualifications & Experience
- Assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33) – essential.
- Level 3+ engineering/manufacturing qualifications – essential.
- Teaching qualification – desirable.
- Experience in assessing or training within engineering or manufacturing.
- Strong industry background; power generation experience desirable.
- Excellent communication, organisation and caseload management skills.
