Job Title: Early Years Trainer Assessor
Salary: £29,000–£30,000 + £2,500 South Weighting Allowance
Location: Home-based with travel across Devon (approx. 45-mile radius)About Our Client
Our client is a leading specialist training provider with over 35 years’ experience. They are dedicated to developing outstanding Early Years practitioners and supporting learners, employers and communities across the UK.They are looking for a passionate Early Years Trainer Assessor to support learners completing their Level 2, 3 or 5 Early Years apprenticeships. In this rewarding role as Early Years Trainer Assessor, you’ll guide and mentor learners throughout their training, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the Early Years sector.
You’ll be home-based but will travel regularly to meet learners and employers, giving you flexibility to manage your own diary.
All successful applicants will be subject to DBS and pre-employment checks.
What you’ll be doing as - Early Years Trainer Assessor:
- Managing a caseload of around 45 learners across the region
- Delivering Early Years qualifications through face-to-face and remote support
- Supporting learners throughout their apprenticeship journey
- Monitoring progress using an e-portfolio system
- Working closely with employers to ensure the best outcomes for learners

About you
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
- Strong experience working in an Early Years setting
- Assessing qualification (TAQA/CAVA/A1) desirable
- Teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS) desirable
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confident using IT systems such as Microsoft Office
